Remote inspection

Two ways to gather evidence without leaving the office, both started from the claim and neither asking the policyholder to install anything.
Video inspection by link.The participant receives a link by SMS, gives consent and opens the camera in the browser. Video inspection is a module switched on per installation.
The call isn't recorded.The connection runs directly between the two browsers, encrypted. Only the photos and videos the adjuster chooses to save are kept on the claim.
The adjuster guides the capture.Quick prompts for the policyholder (move closer, more light, show the tape measure), torch, zoom and requests for photos taken on the policyholder's phone.
Documents by secure link.The policyholder sends photos and documents through a link that only allows uploads, expires on its own and shows no claim data.
Every file checked.Every file received is scanned for viruses before it is added to the claim.

Do we need to install an app from an app store?
No. The field app installs from the phone's browser. The policyholder doesn't install anything either: remote inspection and document upload both work through a link.
What happens if a phone is lost?
Data is kept in an encrypted copy, protected by a PIN. Five wrong attempts lock access and ten wipe the copy. After 60 minutes of inactivity, the app locks itself.
What can be done with no signal?
Starting and completing visits, writing notes and capturing photos, video and audio. Reports, estimates and correspondence need a connection.
Is the remote inspection recorded?
No. The call isn't recorded. The participant's consent is logged, and only the captures the adjuster saves are kept on the claim.
